We champion otherness, weirdness, challenging norms, radical inclusion, and the power of creativity to change our local community and beyond. We provide a container for artists of all disciplines to explore and present their creative output. We are a venue for the arts community and look to support art that might otherwise not have a vessel for expression.

Originally conceived in 2018, The Psychic Garden has grown, shifted, changed, moved, and gone temporarily dormant over the years. The current iteration was born in late 2023 when we moved into our current artspace.

Like The Psychic Garden itself, this artspace is constantly changing to incorporate new infrastructure, ideas, and to better serve our community. Since 2023 we have hosted hundreds of events spanning a wide variety of genres and disciplines.

"NOTAFLOF" stands for "No One Turned Away For Lack of Funds," meaning that there is an advertised suggested donation for an event, but if you are unable to afford this amount, we welcome you to attend anyway (and pay as much or as little as you can afford — even nothing). "PWYC" stands for "Pay What You Can," and operates similarly. There is an advertised suggested donation amount, but you are welcome to donate whatever amount you can afford (including nothing).

We are a 100% volunteer run organization and none of the organizers are paid for their work on the organization. All donations and proceeds from events are given to performers, or reinvested in our artspace.

Beyond all of that, The Psychic Garden is a welcoming community centered around live, experimental, DIY art and performances.
